Why Vegan?

Making healthy food choices is a big part of taking charge of your health.  What you eat can nurture and strengthen your body or contribute significantly to weight gain, low energy and ill-health. 

Plant based foods are easily digested and convert to energy, healing and restoration and known to reverse many symptoms that are associated with ill-health. Animal products & processed foods take longer to digest, forces the body to produce more mucus to break it down.

Continuing to eat unhealthy food can cause your digestive system to become a cause for concerns.  Foods that are commercially processed often cause the body, mind and spirit to function slower because of the presence of chemicals, artificial coloring and preservatives and the lack of nutritional value in the food which occurs, for example, when foods are cooked.

Processed foods can cause the over secretion of mucus which causes constipation, weight gain, hardening of arteries, sinus infections, inflammation and acidic conditions in the organs, joints and tissues. Excess mucus and acidity can create a perfect breeding ground for unwanted pathogens to envelope and the onset of disease.
